The Golden Ratio

The golden ratio is a universal relation of the harmonious correlation between analogies that we can witness in a variety of completely different situations or effects.

This harmony also known as the divine harmony is an ancient secret used by architects, painters and other creators to imbue their works with harmony.

In this work of mine the analogy relations of the different centered circles of the color spectrum in between themselves as well as the genetic creation spiral are Golden Ratio relations.

The Golden Ratio is met many times in the collection of the 8 paintings.

Spiro D'oro

* 80x80 cm. square oil painting on canvas, revolving within a circular frame-background of 120cm diameter

* The perspective of the painting is not deteriorated in any of the possible positions while revolving, as the observer is out of Earth's gravitational field.
